Notes:

This little one fell from his nest, and was happy to be handled by anyone....it was interesting to see his mum flying around us and "calling" him. Two other fell off as well but they flew off shortly after. This one however was happy to stick around! :)

Mara, fledgling is a generic term for young bird that has recently acquired its flight feathers
Thank you all for commenting. Just a quick question, is Fledgling the common name for this species or is there another name?
Life can be tough for fledglings!!
He did survive, started flying later in the same day.
Could he survive? poor fledgling! very nice pic!
