Description:
Female. Pieridae family. It shows the underside of the wings in which it combines yellowish green and white colors, with a black spot on the anterior wing. On the upperside, the wings present a checkerboard with more white than black. Pontia Daplidice is found between March and November, completing 3 generations per year. Adults prefer to fly in open spaces. The caterpillars feed on herbs from two families, Crucifera (hence the name of the mustard-butterfly) and Resedácea.
Habitat:
Open forest with pine and holm oak trees. Dehesa de Valdelatas.
