Common pheasant (female)

This female was hanging around the male I posted a few days ago (see male for more pheasant info). I have seen a considerable amount of males during time spent in the UK but this is actually one of the only females I have seen!
The females are duller in colouration (a common trait in the bird-world), more shy and better camouflaged than the males.
