Field Notes

Description:

It is an aquatic species found in many forested and shaded wetland habitats, including shaded stream banks and under grass tussocks in marshes. It may also be found in home gardens. Larvae are wholly aquatic. It is not present in polluted waters.

Habitat:

Terrestrial; Freshwater
