Leaves are 4-5 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide bark is smooth and grey-Brown on this young tree every othe leaf appears to come to a "clip point"
Habitat:
Growing in a moist well shaded area
Notes:
Leaves are similar to walnut but are alternate instead of opposite
