They are beautiful birds!! I saw one just the other day perched on a billboard along the Pennsylvania Turnpike!
When I worked at MIT (Boston) every year the students set a webcam in the MIT web site to monitor the evolution of chicks growing on nests located in trees or buildings nearby. I also read a story of red tail hawks living near Central Park in NY and perching close to Woody Allen´s house..LOL :-)
Definately a Red Tail Hawk Marta... Just like mine. I found it amazing that I could get so close to it with out him flying off. I was like maybe 4 feet from him and he just kept looking at me. It was awesome
