Ipomoea x multida has synonym status only in relation to Ipomoea sloteri as Ipomoea x multifida was a sterile diploid hybrid whereas Ipomoea sloteri is a fertile tetraploid

Thanks for all the attention everyone..Sorry about the mix up.. I was holding my two year old daughter and could not do a lot.. I do think though that there were two distinct creepers there.. it was a trellis at the Hershey Gardens childrens garden.

I think Alice is right, a mixture of two plants both of the morning glory family. the flower looks like a cardinal creeper you can see the smaller leaves on photos 1 & 3. The bigger leaves, seems to belong to a variety of sweet potato.
