Do you know the type of rock shown in the background? It looks like granite.

You can ID this guy from other clubtails by the large black shoulder stripe and longer legs.
Hey TammyG! What photo gear do you use to take your amazing shots of dragonflies? Have you been to the following locations? Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area; Caesars Head State Park; Nantahala National Forest. Friends of mine from Anderson, SC just sent me some tourist-type photos of these locations ...
