Species ID Suggestions

Comments (5)

Still no new update, but google image says its a cetoscarus ocellatus which basically is bi colored parrot fish, I spotted this in anilao as well, thanks for sharing and hopefully we do get a real id. Most of our marine species have not been identified yet, a lot of new species are ongoing.
Thanks for helping, Lori and Elsa. Is it possibly Whitespot Parrotfish, Scarus forsteni ? http://www.eol.org/pages/222046 http://australianmuseum.net.au/Whitespot-Parrotfish-Scarus-forsteni
Lori.tas is right about it being a parrot fish, you can tell from the beak and body shape. What species is a different question. I'll have a looksie in the old ID book.
I really have no idea. Hope someone'll help me Id this fish..
Looks like a "parrot" fish species.
