Description:
The Clover Looper is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from coast to coast in the United States. Adults are tan with brown bands and typically fold their wings down their backs. They have a wingspan of 1–1½ inches. Adults fly from March into November, with several generations a year.
Habitat:
Clover Loopers are found in agricultural areas, along roadsides and in disturbed places. The adults fly during both day and night. At night, they are attracted to lights.
