Northern Corn Rootworm Beetle

Northern adults are approximately 6 mm in length and range from tan to green in color. Eggs are laid in the ground and hatch in late May to early June. When they hatch they begin to feed on the roots of corn plants. They pupate in Jully and August and there is only one generation per year.
