Description:

This turtle was under the water of the pond inside the Orchid house at the Atlanta Botanic Gardens.

Notes:

Thanks for the ID help & info about the worm-like tongue that he dangles to lure fish allowing him to chomp down on the unsuspecting fish.

This guy has a worm-like tongue that he uses to lure fish into his open mouth. When prey latch on to the "worm", he bites down and has lunch.
