Looks like a juvenile water monitor, they are also found across Indonesia. I've got some pics if you'd like to compare http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6163030.

Where was this spotted? Wild komodos only occur on Komodo island and neighbouring Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang and Gili Dasami. Looks like it could be a monitor lizard.
