Field Notes

Description:

High atop Multnomah Falls in Oregon there is an abundance of these giant Wood Sorrels. I looked all over for one with four leaves, but never found one.

This Sorrel had a bead of dew in the center and at the end of each leaf and was truly the most amazing.

@ lori.tas Thanks for the help identifying. I Googled Wood Sorrel in Oregon and found out what it was a Oxalis Oregana. I changed the description to match. You Rock!
Lovely photo. I think, however, that you might have spotted a type of wood sorrel (Oxalis): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxalis
