Description:

Saw this flower 2 weeks ago on Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, CA. Anyone know what it might be? Looks like it would be in the Iris family? In a serpentine soil/gravel, as you may be able to notice.

Habitat:

Serpentine gravel and chaparral
