Congrats Mehmet, your tiny chameleon is our spotting of the day! Although Mediterranean chameleons are not rare, their numbers are declining because of habitat loss and capture for the pet trade. Capture from the wild is the most damaging threat to the species and many chameleons die of stress before they reach their intended destinations.
