Description:

"Eggs are laid in batches of 20 or so, while the newly hatched larvae are gregarious." ~wiki

Habitat:

spotted on the leaves of a caper bush (Capparis sinaica) in a coastal desert wadi (Wadi GNai)

Notes:

aka Pioneer White and Brown-veined White

It's their season again, apparently - all of the caper bushes we passed on this hike were covered in eggs, caterpillars, chrysalises, and butterflies!
