Reasonably large bird, just flew down in front of me, as if asking for a photo to be taken!

Also, the system assumes your spotting is identified when you add a reference to it haha. If you want to know what your spottings are showing up as "identified or unidentified), then go look at your spotting page. Every photo for each spotting has a tan band at the bottom of it. There can be 3 symbols, or it can be blank. One symbol is a check mark, which means it's identified. Another is a question mark, which means you have ticked the "Help me ID this species box". The third symbol looks like a luggage tag, and it means someone has given you an ID suggestion and it hasn't been accepted yet. If the tan band is blank it means that a scientific name/reference wasn't entered, but also the "Help me ID this species box" wasn't ticked. Just so you know :)
I'm pretty sure it's a Crested Serpent Eagle, immature maybe? Google some pictures in addition to checking out this link and see what you think! In the close up of his head, looks like you can see his "crest" that's mostly just down at the moment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crested_serpent_eagle
