Field Notes

Description:

The Peregrine Falcon has a body length of 34 to 58 centimetres and a wingspan of up to 120 centimetres. The back and wings of the adult are usually bluish black to slate gray with indistinct darker barring the wingtips are black. The rust-coloured underparts are barred with thin bands of dark brown.

Habitat:

Found just about everywhere on earth, including cities.
