Description:

Plant is tall, about 5 to 6 feet tall, round leafed with clusters of blooms..
Once established in a garden, hollyhocks often self-sow, forming a colony of plants themselves.

Alice, the flower garden is my wife's triumph and the vegetable garden is mine!! But we work on them together.. She loves the unusual plantings and she mixes up the beds to provide color and blooms thru the seasons.. She wants to get her Master Gardener Certification from Rutgers University, allthough our 2 year old girl has other plans.. Nick

Now I have seen Burgandy Red before, just never a white double. You must have quite an interesting garden! I made the mistake of not looking at all your pictures. I would have seen imediately what it was.

Alice, I actually have seeds for a burgundy red Hollyhock. I was planning to grow it this year but got sidetracked.. Nick

I dont think so Alice.. the word is my mouth as they say.. hahaha.. but its not carnations. the plant is really tall.. its a perenial and the leafs as you can see are really big and almost round. Nick
