Bell Pepper plant & fruit

The plants got in the ground 3 weeks ago but have fruit on them already! They need a lot of sun and heat to grow but it's been rainy and cloudy the last two weeks.. Had to cut the fruit prematurely as so the plants can use their strength to grow themselves.
