Field Notes

Description:

Tan snake. I think the bird that was carrying it killed it. It did not move when the bird dropped it. This snake was maybe 18-24 inches and about 3/4 to 1 inch round.

Notes:

This snake was being carried by a bird in the woodland area path at the Atlanta Botanic Gardens. The bird was startled and it dropped the snake. The snake did not move and the bird was watching the snake from a nearby perch.

Thanks for the ID help.
