Field Notes

Description:

Adults are approximately 3 cm (1.5 in) long. Males (shown) has a bright blue thorax and thin shoulder stripes. Females are similar, but may be either brown or blue.

Habitat:

I photographed this specimen along a woodland trail near a wetland.
