Field Notes

Description:

Brown with five stripes. Cream colored on the belly. Appears to be an adult, as there were no signs bright blue or purplish tail.

Habitat:

Paul found this in our yard when cutting grass.

Notes:

Haley and Wyatt were both excited that they got the chance to gently hold it before we released it behind our bushes.

my dad couldn't catch any, from the time he was about 10 - 18 but then when he was cutting grass he saw the skink running into our yard so he finnally caught one.[by the way it tried to bite my dad and he threw it onto the window, then it tried to bite the camera strap and haley threw it onto the ground,and it ran into a hole.]
