Field Notes

Description:

These seed pods are some of the most unique looking seed pods around. Dry flower arrangements often include dried seed pod heads. The flower attracts the pollinators, then seeds grow from the holes as the pod matures the growing seeds, it drops the petals, and time matures the seeds inside the pod holes. The pod dries out, droops down, opens, and drops the seeds into the water.
