Species ID Suggestions

Thanks for your insight karen. I was just lazy with primary ID
But not to the extent true chameleons do. Have worked with both. There are huge differences between the two in habits and care: not to mention habitat and locale. I think it is best to be as precise as possible with identification. The name chameleon as applied to anole came about as a way to advertise them in the pet trade, before old world chameleons become popular pets... fortunately these days the old world chameleons are being captive raised and doing fairly well. I had feared they would be wiped out by those wanting such a unique and exotic looking pet
http://animal-world.com/encyclo/reptiles/lizards_iguanid/GreenAnole.php Anoles will change coloration from grey to bright green to blend in with their surroundings.
is the same as mine: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6427707
Chameleon is an old-world lizard. The guys with the rotating eyes, heavy set bodies and blotchy-changeable color. They can be sub tropical to tropical to desert. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chameleon
Common chameleon, anole lizard. Both are the same.
I don't think there's a difference
That's not a chameleon, it's a carolina anole lizard. I like em, they are always impressing me with their head bobbing.
