Field Notes

Description:

A 2-3 inch black millipede with yellow bands separating each segment along its back. Very bright yellow legs and a dark brown/black colored head.

Notes:

Found underground near the foundation of an old rotting shed.

These millipedes are know to produce Hydrogen Cyanide....so don't eat them! Sometimes you can smell the slight almond smell.
