no this one was in captivity. In Australia you have to go to north Queensland to find them in the wild and even then they are rare to come across unless you are with the right people. They aren't that common in the wild any more. They can be aggressive, they have extremely powerful legs and claws that could make your insides your outsides very quickly! But still they are a fascinating bird. They remind me a lot of a dinosaur...
