This green 'frog-faced' cicada is about 4cm (1.6 inches) long.

Habitat:

Hills overlooking Manila.

Thanks you guys! So, it's a cicada. It'd be nice if it"s one of those recently discovered Filipino species - the 'laughing cicada'... But it sounded more like a screaming one, when we heard the one being attacked by our dog :-} ...
