Field Notes

Description:

Pink cap with a darker pink center. White gills, stem, and flesh. Stem was very smooth. Cap was 5-6cm in diameter.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in a mixed forest, but in an area with a lot of pine.

Notes:

As the common name implies, this mushroom is not edible.
