Description:

Most coral fungi have simple or branched fruiting bodies that are erect. The spores are born on the sides of the branches, and the spore-bearing surface is typically smooth or ridged.

Habitat:

Growing in the leaf litter in a deciduous forest at Sharon Audubon.
