Description:

Low growing plant. Thick, dark green leaves with light veins. Tan stems with a pair of white flowers that face down. Leaves are evergreen. Native wildflower.

Habitat:

Temperate forest.

Notes:

Considered "Exploitably Vunerable" in the state of New York. Leaves are edible.
