The Cruiser (Vindula arsinoe) is a day butterfly from the family Nymphalidae. It ranges from the Maluku Islands and New Guinea to the Solomon Islands and Queensland. It is sexually dimorphic. (from Wikipedia)

Thanks Martin, That got me checking things out - it is definitely Vindula, but maybe v. arsinoe rather than v. erota?
