Description:

Thermoniphas micylus, the Tinted Blue or the Common Chalk Blue, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family.

Habitat:

The habitat consists of forest edges, paths and clearings. This one was seen with several other species of small butterflies, mud-puddling on damp patches on a dirt road running through the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, SW Uganda.
