Field Notes

Description:

This pill bug was found rolled up at the base of a cast iron plant among some Mexican River rocks.

Habitat:

Spotted in the Tropical South.

Notes:

The pill bug was rolled up in a defensive posture before I even spotted it. Rather than remaining as it was, it unrolled and moved under the rocks to escape my camera.
