Euplectes afer

Beautiful set of photos. The following link shows sightings of the yellow-crowned bishop in Portugal: http://ibc.lynxeds.com/species/yellow-crowned-bishop-euplectes-afer. May not be definitive but I'm beginning to think Noe and Pili were right.
What an amazing experience here with Project Noah!... Thanks for all your support and feedback. Let's see if I can get this little fellow ID'ed. I'll be adding a few more shots from that day in the next minutes.
This a confusing one for sure. Euplectes afer (yellow-crowned bishop) seems to be right but maybe one of the sub-species: e. a. afer (Napoleon weaver); e.a. strictus; e.a. taha; e.a. laoensis. This bird has a black belly and I haven't seen one of the weavers that is not yellow underneath (except for the bishop). Animaisfoto, I look forward to the additional pictures.
may be may be not if a better pic was uploaded the id would be much faster but the id is debatable between vitelline masked weaver and Yellow-crowned Bishop
I think K is right , it's a type of weaver bird, Euplectes afer, but the picture of the wikipedia is different that this one, anyway if you search this species in Google images, you will find pictures very similar to this one
definately not an oriole because of the size and beak shape
It looks kind of like a weaver bird, maybe vitelline masked weaver?
It looks like a type of oriole, but not from europe
Thank for your interest. It would be nice to ID this little fellow. I have a few more photos that I'll be updating in a few minutes. The bird was very small. Maybe 7 centimeters tall.
What sort of size was this bird? Anymore photos?
