Thanks Scott and Welcome To Project Noah!!
Could be if it's a garden escape. That particular hollyhock species seems to be fairly popular as a garden plant.
Apologize for the typo. Meant fig shaped petals and not leaves.
Alcea ficifolia,?? Any possibility at all? considering the fig shaped leaves?

It looks like it's definitely a member of the Mallow family, like hollyhock. Possibly Malva sylvestris judging by the shape of the leaves, although the petals of M. sylvestris tend to have more of a notch in them. Perhaps an exotic garden escape?
Alice, the petals of this flower are bending downwards. Appreciate your suggestion..Every little clue leads to an ID.
