This is the fruit of Trapa natans, an invasive species. Known by the common name "water chestut" but it is *not* the same one as the water chestnut we eat.
dried flower...my be a insect...I feel 2 front legs are seen..
gee thats interesting maybe a new spiecies of plant maybe. very odd!!
