Common bluetail -damselfly.
Australasian
Egg laying phase of mating...zoom in on full screen to see the egg deposits.

Habitat:

Our front yard, freshwater pond, although the Common Bluetail is saltwater tolerant

Notes:

Two mating damselflies, now in the egg laying phase. If you zoom in on the full screen you will see the egg deposits.
