Field Notes

Description:

Look carefully. They are the same color as the leaves they are wrapped in. They are green with nice-sized antennas

Habitat:

I found them chewing on the leaves of Claire's Buddha Hands Citrus tree. While she is in N.C. this Summer I am checking on the school yard garden occassionaly.

I got close because I did not want to disturb them or make them jump. They wrapped up nicely in the leaves. I am sorry I don't have a measurement.
Super shots Alice...the striped eyes are outstanding!
