Field Notes

Description:

Medium-sized, yellow-green butterfly with a white dot on its lower ring enclosed by a red ring. Light green eyes and short antennas.

Notes:

Very skiddish when first chasing but after awhile stayed on one flower and allowed me to get some shots. Rapid, jerky flight pattern to flowers with lots of nectar.
