Description:

Vanessula is a genus of butterflies in the Nymphalidae family. It contains only one species, Vanessula milca, the Lady’s Maid.

Habitat:

The habitat consists of dense and riverine forests. I saw this one on bushes by the side of a dirt road running through the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, SW Uganda.
