Field Notes

Description:

Bark Louse with dark wings, 8 mm long. Order Psocoptera, Family Psocidae. The last 4 pictures were taken on 7 July 2015 in the same place. These individuals are very similar to Cerastipsocus venosus, but have differences in the wing window pattern. See the 2nd reference cited.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
