Possible, and most likely they are the same plant, my fave plant. They're very good at self seeding and spreading,hence they will grow wild. Have got white, purple, and the one in the pix is a lightly tinged purple.
Wow! they are very similar to one that grows wild near my parents house! In Spain! Could it be possible? They smell very nice, like honey...
