Arrowcreek camp ground. Seen growing on a tree stump.

I'm still at this camp ground, so later today I will post a picture of the underside and maybe you will be able to confirm the ID. Thanks so much for the information.

It is possibly Turkeytail (Trametes versicolor), however we need to see the fertile surface (underside) to be certain. If this surface is white to cream and covered in tiny pores, we can confirm this ID. For future unknown fungi, be sure to include photos of the fertile surface (can be the gills or pores) and stem (if present). It doesn't always guarantee an ID (sometimes you need more information than that), but it can get you a lot closer! The more info you have, the closer you can get to an ID!
