Description:

This is a case-bearing leaf beetle. The mother beetle encases her eggs in dung. The larva will then add to the case before enclosing itself.

Habitat:

Wooded area.

Still looking for help on this identification. The insect acts like a hermit crab by carrying its cocoon with it as it travels.
