Description:

Juvenile coloration. Note the white underbelly indicating it is not a glossy ibis. Photos of this one were difficult as it blended superbly with the plants in the area.

Habitat:

Spotted in the coastal tropical south.

Notes:

The American White Ibis is protected under the Migratory Birds Treaty Act.
