Description:

This baby gator was one of many that I saw that day. I was literally 2 feet from this one. Just after this photo was taken he snapped at something and disappeared.

Habitat:

Freshwater swamps and rivers. They are also common in many smaller pools of water such as ponds and the water on golf courses. They will also live in ponds in urban developments.

Thank you! Yes, he was quite tiny in person. I'd say 3-4 feet long.
Good picture...I guess he appears older than he is!
