Yeah, you're right, Heather! :)
Weeds are just flowers and plants that are growing where they aren't wanted. :-P
Wow, they have pretty flowers, Heather. I do remember growing something pretty similar to those when I was younger. My spotting here just looks like a weed, really. Not sure if it even produces flowers. But it must be one of those stonecrops and succulents. Found it in my mom's front yard, where the soil is kinda sandy with lots of pebbles and stones.
Here are some spottings of my Portulacas & Purslanes & Ice plants. They are various leaf and flower shapes. All are succulents. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6383990 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6382958 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6414617 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6404570 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6385893 http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6326296 None look exactly like yours in the leaf, but they are close as you will see.
Hi Heather! I haven't seen it bloom so I really can't tell. Here's another spotting that looks pretty similar to this one. But I'm not sure if they're the same because the shape of their leaves doesn't match. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6544878
A form of stonecrop perhaps? There are tons of varieties. What color does it bloom? It is probably a succulent and there are many types of succulents, which stonecrop is one kind. The leaves are "soft" to the touch but store water similar to cactus. They grow well in well drained soil of rock gardens.
