The elongated sepals visible to the right of the bloom are those of Ipomoea indica and Ipomoea purpurea does NOT have these type of sepals.
The exact Scientific name of this beautiful flower is: Ipomoea purpurea. Its a mystery as to why the flower seems to be emitting light from the center in all pictures.
